At the 4th Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards (MEA) held at Conrad Centennial on November 22, 2018, Mr. Ron Tan was named Executive of the Year -- Media & Entertainment, 2018. Mr. Tan was recognized for his leadership and business initiatives that brought tangible business gains to Cityneon over his years of stewardship.
Previous winners of the Executive of the Year award include Mr Raman Singh of Mundipharma, Mr Chatri Sityodtong of ONE Championship, Dr Andy Adhiwana of Auric Pacific Group Limited and Mr Allen Law of Park Hotel Group.
The award comes after the successful opening weekend of Jurassic World: The Exhibition in Madrid, Spain. The exhibition has been visited by approximately 1.5 million people since its world premiere at the Victoria Museum in Melbourne, Australia in 2016. Its opening at IFEMA - Feria de Madrid last week marked the fifth city in the world, and the second European city where the exhibition was hosted. The exhibition will open in Seoul, Korea in 2019 after Madrid.
