HONG KONG, March 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Harvest Global Investments ("HGI"), the Asian and Chinese markets specialist, announced today that Sebastien Gandon, Winnie Wong and Vicki Zhang have joined the firm to support the continuing expansion of HGI's international product offering. HGI made the new hires as it continues to pursue its vision of becoming a truly competitive global Chinese asset management company.
Sebastien Gandon, Director of Business Development, will be responsible for developing the firm's international sales. He comes to HGI with a wealth of experience within the asset management industry, having worked for East Capital, where he was instrumental in leading the sales efforts in the Asia Pacific time zone and continental Europe. He has also worked for several financial institutions, including Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management in Paris and Deloitte in Luxembourg. Sébastien holds a Master's degree in Finance from EDHEC Business School.
Winnie Wong, Portfolio Manager, will take charge of the fixed income portfolios run by HGI. She has a proven record of over 13 years working as an investment analyst and portfolio manager covering Asian companies. She previously held roles at Royal Bank of Canada, Warburg Pincus, and Credit Suisse. Winnie holds Masters and Bachelor degrees from Cornell University and she is a CFA charter holder.
Vicki Zhang, Senior Business Development Manager, will join the China Sales team with responsible roles of developing business for international clients and Mainland financial institutions who wish to invest in the Chinese and global markets respectively. Prior to joining HGI, she worked as an institutional sales for CLSA Alternative Investment. She also worked at J.P. Morgan covering clients from Mainland China and Taiwan. Vicki, graduated from Peking University with a major in Finance, is proficient in both English and Mandarin.
