SINGAPORE, July 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The 11th chapter of the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) 2019 Singapore was successfully concluded at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel on 12 July 2019. Organised by Enterprise Asia, the leading non-governmental organisation for entrepreneurship in Asia, APEA is a regional awards programme which aims to recognise Asia's outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises for demonstrating sustainable growth, responsible leadership and operational excellence.
With the theme of 'Promoting Inclusive Economic Development Through Sustainable Entrepreneurship', over 300 attendees were present at the by-invitation only event, comprising of industry leaders and dignitaries.
Leading the list of winners was Hatten International, which received the award under the Corporate Excellence category for Property Development industry.

This new business division, which is expected to generate recurring income for Hatten Land, will eventually oversee 4,900 commercial retail units with a combined gross floor area of 4.34 million square feet, within five shopping malls developed by the Group. Under the Group's Hospitality Division, Hatten Hotels Worldwide (HHW) has achieved significant recognition for its 5 star services. With 3 distinguished hotels in its current portfolio and having secured management agreements with reputable names in the industry like Hilton Worldwide and Mariott International, HHW aims to launch over 5,000 hotel rooms in Melaka and manage over 8,000 rooms across the nation.
Future Direction
