CHENGDU, China, Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- China Food and Drinks Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "CFDF") has been held for more than 60 years, and in 2019, the grand 100th fair will be held. The exhibition will be held from March 21-23, 2019 in Western China International Expo City, Chengdu. This exhibition is planned to occupy nearly 210,000 square meters. It is estimated that there will be more than 4,000 enterprises from over 40 countries and regions, and more than 400,000 professional purchasers and relevant people will attend the fair. The Imported Food and Beverage Exhibition Zone of the 100th CFDF will continue to aim at the second and third tier markets by combining the consumer grading and scene creation with various channels to help international food enterprises explore the Chinese market.

According to 2018 China Shopper Report released by the Kantar Consumer Index, most of the sales growth came from the southwestern and central provinces as urbanization in the inland provinces of China gained speed. With more consumers buying high-end goods, inland provinces such as Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Guangxi continued to outperform coastal provinces in terms of the growth of fast-moving consumer goods.

National exhibition delegations from Australia, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia and other countries have participated in past iterations of the CFDF, and in 2019, they plan to attend again. They accept the abundant channels and resources provided by the CFDF and they have opened the Chinese market after years of participation.

The 12th Match Making in the Imported Food and Beverage Exhibition Zone, organized by Masterexpo Exhibition, Combines the online and offline channels prevailing in the domestic market. Four exclusive sections of "Importers", "Distributors", "Small Formats" and "Group Buying" will be set up to meet more demands from all exhibitors at all respects. Meanwhile, as one of the brand forums during the CFDF, the event of "Gold-medal Products and New Channels" will gather many consultants and experts to discuss trends in this field so that foreign exhibitors will have a better understanding of the Chinese market and the constantly-changing channels.
