Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp to showcase Korean specialty foods at the 2018 HKTDC Food Expo

HONG KONG, Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation ("aT"), as part of a delegation of South Korea's leading exporters, will once again participate in the 2018 HKTDC Food Expo to be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre between August 16 and 18, 2018. "As the largest food exhibition in Hong Kong, the Expo attracts over 500,000 professional buyers and visitors from around the world annually. During this year's event, the South Korea pavilion will house 72 exhibitors, a significant increase from last year's number, showcasing over ten varieties of high-quality Korean specialty foods," said aT head Charles Kim. "Through participation in the Expo, we look forward to further developing the Korean food industry by helping local food exporters expand exports into overseas markets. In addition, the event will give us an unprecedented opportunity to promote agricultural and fishery products originating from South Korea in Hong Kong, China and surrounding countries and regions."

"To highlight the premium quality of Korean agricultural and fishery products, a series of 14 presentations, each with a unique theme and using the latest LED technologies, will be in continuous rotation at the pavilion, creating a high-end and dynamic exhibition space while delivering an unprecedented visual experience to visitors. Additionally, the pavilion will include special promotion zones focused on South Korea's sauces and seasonings, as well zones similar zones for ginseng and other cultural specialties, where visitors can sample the various cuisines and healthy foods that are distinctive of South Korea while gaining a better understanding of traditional Korean culture through a hands-on experience with the country's local gastronomical and health-oriented delicacies."
