MILAN, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 29th, 2019, LG Chem - Korea's leading manufacturer of advanced batteries - held the 'Top Installer Award 2018' to reward its top 5 installers in Europe with the highest sales record in the European market in 2018 at a venue near Frankfurt.

The Top 5 RESU battery installers include:

  • EBITSCHenergietechnik GmbH (Germany)
  • Gexx aeroSol GmbH (Germany)
  • Solarzentrum Mittelhessen GmbH, selected 2 years in a row (Germany)

The selected installers were invited to a banquet hosted by LG Chem and were rewarded RESU batteries (RESU10H or RESU7H) and plaques as prizes in recognition of the trust and great success they achieved with the advanced technology of LG Chem RESU batteries. Alongside the Top 5 installers, LG Chem also showed its appreciation by sending out special gifts to 50 installers across Europe.

After the success of the first event held a year ago, LG Chem filled this year's ceremony with an equal number of various sessions and activities. Through a discussion session, installers shared their thoughts and ideas about the residential ESS market trend based on their first-hand experience in the field. LG Chem was able to collect valuable insights that would lead them to a more desirable path in the future. To lighten up after the main ceremony, LG Chem prepared a special cooking class for the installers. With the guide of the restaurant's chef, participants were able to add another enjoyable moment at the ceremony.

Moreover, in order to show appreciation for its global market expansion and sales increase, LG Chem decided to expand the ceremony which was originally held solely in Germany in the first year, to become a more global event. The Top RESU installers of 2018 in the United States and Australia will also be rewarded in February 2019 at a ceremony held in each region.
