Silicon Dragon Forum In Beijing Features Tech Titans of China

BEIJING, April 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Silicon Dragon is bringing its well-known venture and tech forum series to Beijing, to turn a spotlight on China's tech innovation and investment trends. This founder and investor forum will be held April 25 in Beijing and will feature talks by leading venture capitalists and dealmakers.      

The program will explore Tech Titans of China: How China's Tech Sector is Challenging The World By Working Harder, Innovating Faster and Going Global. The event picks up on themes from the forthcoming book, Tech Titans of China, written by global innovation expert and Forbes columnist Rebecca A. Fannin. The book is being published this year by Hachette Book Group and is on pre-order now.

Event discussions will center on the US-China tech race, China's leading technology innovators, and industry sectors including AI, robotics and mobility. The impact of China's rise as an innovation nation and its impact on the global economy will be explored.

Venture capitalists speaking at the event are from GGV Capital, ZhenFund, Redpoint China, and Chinaccelerator. Innovators who will speak are Xiaopeng He, the founder of Chinese electric car maker, Xpeng Motors, who sold his prior startup to Alibaba for $4 billion.  The program also includes a talk by Martin Suter, head of China e-commerce at Anheuser-Bush.

Now in its eighth year in Beijing, this annual event is led by Silicon Dragon founder, editor and author Rebecca A. Fannin. The event is sponsored by law firm Cooley, and partner Henry Yin will be featured on the program. The event is jointly hosted with Chinaccelerator and collaboration community DayDayUp.

The forum will be held at DayDayUp, Sanlitun Soho, Building C, Level 22, April 25, 5pm-7:30pm.

The Silicon Dragon conference brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors and leaders of the startup ecosystem for discussions on what's next in Asia's emerging tech and venture markets. Participants will gain insights on how to raise financing and develop strategies to succeed in the region and in leading innovation hotspots such as Silicon Valley.
