Startup Vietnam Foundation Strengthens Board of Directors with Appointment of Chief Marketing Officer

HO CHI MINH, Vietnam, May 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- 2019 will be the major milestone of Startup Vietnam Foundation (SVF) as they announced today that the Board of Directors has appointed Doan Kieu My to serve as Chief Marketing Officer effective May 1, 2019.

In this role, Ms. Doan Kieu My (Kimiko) will be responsible for working across key areas that drive growth to create and implement a long term vision and enterprise-wide execution of growth-generating strategies.

Established in 2014, Startup Vietnam Foundation (SVF) is the first and only Socialized and Non-profit Foundation to support open innovation ecosystem in Vietnam. SVF is the team of dedicated experts and contributors, driven by the same vision: to be the leader in building Vietnam Open Innovation Ecosystem. At present, SVF has strategic partnerships with local governments in more than 25 provinces and cities in Vietnam, and other countries such as the US, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Europe.

Ms. Kimiko is an entrepreneur and business strategy consultant specialised in innovation and emerging technologies. She graduated with merit from Helsinki University of Technology (Finland) and holds the first-class honour MBA at the University of Gloucestershire (UK). In 2018, she founded YellowBlocks, an emerging tech ecosystem connector from Vietnam to the world. Within the first 6 months, YellowBlocks has established partnerships with more than 60 global and local partners and extended its reach to nearly 100,000 tech audiences.

Startup Vietnam Foundation also officially announced other key members in the the Board of Directors such as Mr. Tony Wheeler as Senior Advisor in Global Strategy, Mr. Nguyen Viet Duc as Senior Advisor in Investment, Ms. Ha Nguyen as Director of Accelerator Program. Ms. Mandy Nguyen as Director of Ecosystem Development shared,  "Over the last 5 years, we have impacted more than 1,000 local startups and 10,000 entrepreneurs as well as multiple local governments.
