On the key management promotions and retirement of Robin Yap, Brett Tollman, Chief Executive of The Travel Corporation said, "TTC's success in Asia is due to our brilliant, highly dedicated and focused team. We are very proud of our team and it gives us great pleasure to promote Nick and Mae, whom we have no doubt will shine in their new roles. Their respective promotions are a key decision in our ongoing strategic growth plans for Asia. The company has always been committed to promote and grow seasoned, proven executives. Their knowledge, proven experience and understanding of our business serves as a valuable foundation for our future growth. We are also pleased that Robin will continue to support Nick and his team in his new role as Chairman Emeritus and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts for the unwavering, remarkable loyalty and dedication which he has displayed during his long tenure with the company."

Brett added, "With a strong management team in place in Asia, we are excited to have Nick now help us replicate the fantastic success he's had for Trafalgar and CostSaver over the past several years, for our other brands now: Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Uniworld, U by Uniworld, Busabout, Contiki Holidays, AAT Kings, Inspiring Journeys, Red Carnation Hotels and Evan Evans. We are confident that we will be able to achieve our goals in providing the most enjoyable and enriching travel experiences for all our guests, and continuing to be a very engaged, loyal, supportive and robust partner to all of our travel industry partners in the region."

Prior to his promotion as Managing Director Asia, Nicholas Lim was President Asia of Trafalgar and President TTC India. As Managing Director, Nicholas will focus on business development of The Travel Corporation's other key brands such as Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Contiki Holidays and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, Red Carnation, Inspiring Journeys and AAT Kings in Asia, as well as continuing to support Mae's future success overseeing TTC's most important brand Trafalgar. Reporting to Brett Tollman, Nicholas will also work with each of the global brand executives to execute the brand strategies and direction to fuel further growth for Asia, in particular the luxury travel market for international outbound leisure travel.

Mae is another example of a long-service executive who has demonstrated a strong passion and commitment in leading growth of Trafalgar Asia. Having proven herself after a 20-year tenure with Thompsons Africa, also a TTC brand, and subsequently four years with Trafalgar as Regional Director of Sales, Mae is a natural fit to step into the leadership role for Trafalgar & CostSaver Asia.
