SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- LitePoint announced today that customers are ramping production of the next generation of WiFi products with the new 802.11ac WiFi standard using its IQxel™ test system. The LitePoint® IQxel allows companies to rapidly bring the first 802.11ac products to consumers.
The new standard 802.11ac enables speeds at least three times faster than the prior generation, with a much higher quality of coverage. Called "5th generation WiFi" or "Gigabit WiFi," 802.11ac technology enables consumers to watch higher resolution video wirelessly with better quality than ever before; eliminating pixilated screens, choppy video and blurred images.
