1.FM Internet Radio App Launches on Android and iPhone Smartphones

1.FM, a global internet radio network, has recently launched its new Android and iPhone application, enabling users around the world to listen to over 50 radio channels covering every genre, mood and style. The app is now available as a free download in the Google Play store or Apple App store.

The new 1.FM application empowers users to rate their favorite artists, request, share and dedicate songs to their loved ones among other features. Furthermore, through 1.FM's app Facebook integration, listeners can publish their recent songs lists to their profiles or manually post links or recommendations to specific stations.

"We've had over 50,000 1.FM app downloads in the first 5 days of Android app launch and the feedback received has also being quite positive," said Jonathan Bitran, CEO of 1.FM. "In 2014, we will continue to expand the reach of 1.FM by targeting new markets in Latin America and Asia to offer our international audience more multilingual radio stations."

Mobile application users who sign up with 1.FM in the next 6 months will be entitled to free, unlimited listening of more than 50 of 1.FM's high-definition streams free of charge (high-definition streams will become a paid-subscription premium feature in 2014). The new mobile apps support Android 4.0 and above or iOS 6 and above.
