The Olympic Museum

As the world's only Olympic Museum, the museum in Lausanne collects and displays thousands of items that span the Games' 3000 year history. It houses the largest collection of Olympic items and as such, holds an important position in spreading Olympic history and culture. Hence, selection of IOC partner corporations is very stringent, requiring that they have a strong and dependable international reputation. Choosing a high-tech Chinese company to cooperate with the Olympic museum, shows the whole world the allure of Chinese technological innovation. At this ceremony, aigo's name was carved into the famous Museum Donor's Wall, a display of aigo's contribution to the spread of Olympic values.

IOC president Jacques Rogge exclaimed that aigo and the Olympic museum's collaboration not only supports the museum's management and operations, but also supports the spread of the Olympic spirit. They believe that with the support of a Chinese high-tech company, the high-tech Olympics will have even greater meaning. When Rogge came to visit Feng Jun in August, he was very interested in aigo's products, including the aigo pen, exclaiming in disbelief, "This is impressive, unbelievable!"

At the ceremony, Mr. Feng said, "Chinese high technology can use this Olympic opportunity to show the whole world its new technology, charisma and give its people a reason to be proud. As the 2008 Beijing Olympics come closer, providing service to the Olympics, spreading Olympic culture, and displaying the values of high-tech Olympics are the responsibility of every Chinese company. aigo will use advanced technology and innovative products to service the 2008 Beijing Olympics."

Feng Jun's passionate speech at the ceremony brought resounding applause from Rogge, Samaranch and the rest of the audience, "I hope that this ceremony marks the beginning of a long-term relationship between aigo and the Olympic Museum. As I stand here today in the Olympic museum, I can see and touch the 3000 years of Olympic history. When I return here next year, it will be with pride that China has officially become part of this glorious history."

The aigo pen

aigo has taken its independently-developed aigo pen into the Olympic Museum's traveling exhibit. The aigo pen uses aigo's innovative digital watermarking and high-resolution optical detection technologies. Through infrared detection on specially printed paper, the pen is able to produce preset sounds in 8 different languages. In the future this will be able to better realize tourism needs, creating independence and interaction. Aside from this, aigo pen technology has very broad applications. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, more than 30,000 journalists and thousands of foreign tourists will be visiting China. As a result, Beijing will experience great pressure in its hospitality industry. The aigo pen has a city tour system that is geared towards this type of problem. By using the aigo pen, tourists can point to objects in the guide and hear an introduction in their native tongue as well as Chinese. The information is varied, from local food and accommodations to culture and history. The high-tech aigo pen will be used for Olympic volunteers and English tour guides to spread the rich Chinese culture, display the technology of the Olympics and facilitate communication. After the Olympics, the aigo pen will be able to read audio maps, audio city tour guides and will provide an opportunity for development in other tourism related fields.

This collaboration with the Olympic Museum shows aigo's innovative spirit and technological prowess. With the coming of the Beijing 2008 Olympics, Chinese high technology will continue to interact closely with the rest of the world. With aigo's leadership and the International Olympic platform, aigo will create waves all over the world.
