Air Liquide China recognized for its sustainability approaches by Shanghai Municipal Government

SHANGHAI, Sept. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 8, Air Liquide China was granted Sustainability Influencer Award 2017 and Sustainability Best Practice Award 2017 for its innovative Nexelia water treatment solution at the "Heading Toward 2040: Corporate Innovation and Urban Sustainability Summit" in Shanghai. Air Liquide China was among 55 companies from various industries receiving these awards.

Co-sponsored by Information Office of Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau, the event aims at promoting sustainability initiatives and displaying Shanghai's efforts in progressing towards a global city of excellence.

As exclusive biological sludge treatment solutions developed by Air Liquide, Nexelia water treatment solutions are proven technologies with over 1,500 references worldwide. The solutions encompass the supply of pure oxygen, injection equipment and expert support. Air Liquide China introduced the innovative solutions to Chinese customers in recent years and helped them significantly reduce sludge disposal costs and improve the stability of wastewater treatment process.
