Manufacturing In China Highlights Strategies and Opportunities for an Increasingly Competitive Market

SHANGHAI, July 23 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Manufacturing in China, Viewpoint's inaugural issue, highlights strategies and opportunities for foreign invested manufacturers in China, as well as ongoing challenges. Regardless of when China's economy recovers, it is clear that the manufacturing landscape in China has changed. Manufacturing in China provides results from recent AmCham Shanghai surveys on the state of manufacturing in China, as well as specific recommendations on what it will take to compete in China's increasingly competitive market and emerge from the economic downturn stronger.

AmCham Shanghai's new publication, Viewpoint, will provide AmCham Shanghai members, U.S. and Chinese government officials, media and other opinion makers with timely and insightful analysis and perspective on key business trends, issues and policies that impact today's business environment in China.

Each Viewpoint will focus on an industry sector, a governmental policy or an issue impacting the American business community in China and will be managed as a "living document", regularly modified based on current events or emerging perspectives.

Viewpoint will include an overview of the issue or policy being covered, a description of how it impacts the business environment in China, relevant statistics, resources for additional information and specific, actionable recommendations, best practices or guidelines for AmCham Shanghai members and targeted policymakers.
