Artificial Life Brings MoPA-TV to the IAAF World Championships in Athletics berlin 2009

LOS ANGELES, BERLIN AND HONG KONG, July 20 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Artificial Life, Inc., (OTC BB: ALIF), ( http://www.artificial-life.com ) today announced a partnership agreement with the Berlin Organising Committee 2009 GmbH (BOC 2009 GmbH) to implement MoPA-TV(TM), the company's innovative cross platform technology at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics berlin 2009(TM) to entertain the audience in the Olympiastadion Berlin and at event sites in the City of Berlin.

This year's event, the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics berlin 2009(TM), will take place in the Olympiastadion Berlin. The biggest worldwide sports event in 2009 is hosting an extensive scope of 47 disciplines for approximately 1,800 athletes. It is expected that many world renowned athletes will be participating in the event including Ariane Fridrich - German champion in high jump; Jeremy Wariner - the 400m Olympic track star from the U.S.; Usain Bolt - Olympic champion in the 100m sprinter from Jamaica and Yelena Isinbayeva - the world record holder for pole vault from Russia.

The IAAF World Championship in Athletics first started in 1983 and has been held every two years since 1991. The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is currently made up of national athletics associations from 213 countries, including the German Athletics Association (DLV).

With MoPA-TV implemented in the Olympiastadion Berlin, the 70,000 members of the audience will have the opportunity to concurrently participate in the program's interactive mobile game sessions. By using text-messages or mobile-email enabled phones, participants in the audience will be able to appear on the stadium's two big digital video screens in the form of avatars as they take part in various live interactive sessions.

Berlin Organising Committee 2009 GmbH estimates that the event will attract a total of 500,000 spectators along with about one million of local residents and city visitors that will be lining the streets in order to support the participants in the marathon and walking events. About 3,500 media representatives from around the world will also be coming to Berlin to report on the biggest worldwide sporting event in 2009. The German television stations ARD and ZDF, as well as the production company Berta, will be providing the televised event through both national and international broadcasts to an expected audience of more than 4 billion people.
