Astronergy Poly Modules' Average Power Output Degradation 1.08% within the First Year

2016-07-08 21:14 2302

HANGZHOU, China, July 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The average power output degradation after one year of Astronergy poly modules turned out to be 1.08% within the first year, far superior to the industrial standard of 2.5%. The modules were tested by the third-party organization CTC (China Building Material Test & Certification Group Co., Ltd).

In March 2015, CTC randomly selected a number of Astronergy's poly modules from the production lines and sent the samples to their test site in Hainan Province, China. All the modules were exposed to the sun for a full year and the assessment report was released in April this year.

A subsidiary of Chint Group, Astronergy's PV modules obtained the certificate issued by the CTC due to their outstanding performance in anti-LID and anti-aging degradation.

Commenting on the certification, Astronergy's Executive Vice President Dr. Lu Chuan said, "The third party recognition proves our solar modules are highly reliable in terms of quality. According to the assessment report, Astronergy modules' real performance is much higher than the standard guarantee which means that Astronergy PV modules will bring a much greater return on investment for our clients for sure."
