SHANGHAI, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CBI Metal Week 2013, focusing on the Chinese and global metal market; will be held at the Shanghai International Convention Center, China on March 11-13, 2013. Over 1,000 delegates are expected to join this time.
The conference will cover both China and the global macro economy, supply and demand in base metal and the precious metal industry including copper, aluminum, lead & zinc, silver and gold.
It is expected that over 1,000 participants from all over the world will attend the conference, covering mining companies, smelting plants, manufacturers, traders and end users' top executives together with the financial institutes, investment institutes, industry organizations, logistic suppliers, equipment suppliers and government officers and more from China and overseas.
As a platform to promote an Asian and a global metal business exchange, CBI Metal Week provides an effective means of information sharing, networking, communication and business cooperation to all members in matters of general and specific interests. Beginning its activities in China in 2005 with the 1st CBI Copper & Copper Products Forum 2005 and the 1st CBI Aluminum & Aluminum Products Technical Forum 2005, CBI managed to expand its metal business coverage to the global market in 2009.
Although global economic and political uncertainties have prevailed in 2012 and the outlook for 2013 is not encouraging, the metal industry will continue to be an exciting part of the global business in the future. The world metal production, trade patterns and consumption in 2013 will still be the issue for all the players, new suppliers and consumers especially in China, and Asia will be expected to be the engine for the global metal industry in 2013.
CBI Metal Week 2013 will share all the information with you about the global metal trading flow, raw materials and downstream terminals. We are looking forward to meeting you in Shanghai.
