LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- William Coffin, Chairman of CCG Investor Relations ("CCG"), an international investor relations agency will lead a panel on October 28, 2010 at the USC Marshall School focused on the proposed changes in corporate governance including Proxy Access and Say on Pay. Also serving as panelists are CCG Partner, Mark Collinson, David Robbins, partner at Bingham McCutchen and Tim Bixler, vice president, general counsel and secretary at International Rectifier.

The two-day summit, designed to help directors and officers of public, private and non-profit boards, senior executives and senior professionals meet the challenges of governance today, will take place October 28-29 at the Davidson Conference Center at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Keynote speakers include Myron T. Steele, 7th Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court.

Mr. Coffin’s panel, entitled, "Proxy Access and Best Practice Disclosure - The Battle for the Boardroom and Shareholders’ Hearts and Minds," will focus on the dramatic changes that are occurring in corporate governance in the aftermath of the "great recession". "In the course of the regulatory reform that has followed the great recession, small groups of shareholders will for the first time be able to more easily nominate up to 25% of the board, dramatically shifting the balance of power between management and shareholders. Also, new disclosure rules on executive compensation will give shareholders a larger say on this hot topic. The whole dynamic between management, the board and shareholders is changing forever and Companies will need to learn new and more effective forms of shareholder relations and communications if they are to survive in the new capital market environment," said Mr. Coffin.
