China Education Alliance to Hold Annual Meeting of Stockholders on February 28, 2013

HARBIN, China, February 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- China Education Alliance, Inc. ("China Education Alliance" or the "Company", OTCQX: CEAI), a China-based education resource and services company today announced the Company will hold its annual meeting of stockholders (the "Annual Meeting") on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. local time in Beijing, China.

The time and location of China Education Alliance's annual meeting of stockholders are as follows:

At the annual meeting of stockholders, the following proposals will be submitted for stockholder approval and are fully described in the Proxy Statement issued on January 15, 2013.   1. To elect three directors to serve until the 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders and until their respective successors have been duly elected and qualified, or until such director's earlier resignation, removal or death;
  2. To ratify the appointment of Albert Wong & Co. as our independent registered public accounting firm for our fiscal year ended December 31, 2012; and
  3. To act on such other matters as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment or adjournments thereof.
