China Education Television Association Appointed Mr. Cheng, the Chairman of C Y Foundation as Honorary Director of its Professional Committee

HONG KONG, Dec. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- C Y Foundation Group Limited ("C Y Foundation" or the "Group", stock code 1182) is pleased to announce today that the China Education Television Association has appointed Mr. Theodore Cheng Chee Tock ("Mr. Cheng"), Chairman of the Group, as Honorary Director of its Professional Committee of Campus TV for Primary and Secondary School ("Professional Committee"). The appointment commended the Group's unrivalled contribution and prominent achievement in the cultural development in China. The letter of appointment was received on behalf of by Ms. Leonora Yung Chi Fung ("Ms. Yung"), Human Resources and Executive Vice President of the Group, accompanied by Executive Director Mr. Hu Xi Chang as well as Chief Operation Officer Dr. Arthur Yeung Tak Hung.

C Y Foundation has strived to develop the business opportunities and at the same time, promote cultural education for youngsters. Currently more than 60 schools are undertaking or have built digital green theaters in their campuses, with Wuxi as a starting base in promoting green movies, the geographical coverage extended to 13 provinces and targeted to cover across the country. The appointment of Mr. Cheng marks a milestone for the Group's cultural and educational businesses.

Moreover, Ms. Yung and other management representatives were invited to attend the 2nd Campus TV Festival ("TV Festival") and the 7th China Primary and Secondary School Television Awards Ceremony ("Awards Ceremony"). The events are organized by the National Center for Education Technology, China Education Television Association, Department of Education of Zhejiang Province and Dongyang City People's Government. The TV Festival was successfully held from 3 to 5 December 2010 at Hengdian World Studio in Dongyang, Zhejiang. Programs included the modern educational technology in China, equipment display, best educational video exhibition, campus TV and shows. The Awards Ceremony also took place in the meantime. The short TV drama "Glory" filmed by Wuxi Yucai Middle School, which is sponsored by C Y Foundation, won the Gold Award in the literary and artistic works category. The event provided a video showing's opportunity and building up a platform for primary and secondary students in China.

The 2nd Campus TV Festival was organized by National Center for Education Technology, China Education Television Association, Department of Education of Zhejiang Province and Dongyang City People's Government. It was the first ever such festival in China to promote campus culture, the exchange in and development of campus television education, and support value as well as cultural education.
