China Headquarters of Germany Jungheinrich Moves to the New Address, the Company Enters into a New Development Phase

SHANGHAI, May 28 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ Since the entrance into China market in 2004, Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the China headquarters of Germany Jungheinrich (ISIN Code: DE0006219934), a worldwide famous forklift manufacturer, has been experiencing a sustained and rapid growth in the past four years; the company scale has been expanding gradually. At the beginning of this year, the company moved the China headquarters to the new office building, which occupies more than 5,000 square meters, Building 12 No. 2, Suide Road, Putuo District, Shanghai, and held the grand moving ceremony in the new office on May 16th, 2008, which is the strong demonstration of quick rising and booming development of Jungheinrich in China market and the Jungheinrich Group’s favourable expectation of China market. The VIP guests watched the video information on the growth of Jungheinrich China in the comfortable and brand new office and listened to the introduction of the history and development of Jungheinrich, by Dr. Limberg, Member of the board, Sales & Marketing, Jungheinrich AG, and Mr. Jan Willem Jongert, regional director Asia and General Manager of Jungheinrich China.

The most noteworthy news for media is the formal declaration of the new general manager appointment of Jungheinrich Lift Truck (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. -- Mr. Jan Willem Jongert. Mr. Jongert was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, 1964. He finished his studies as international Marketing Management at the Rotterdam Business School. Mr. Jongert has been in the forklift industry for more than 20 years and has been with Jungheinrich since 2001. Before taking on his current role as regional director Asia and GM Jungheinrich China in April, 2008, he headed as system sales, key account Manager, export manager, and regional director North & East Europe. He demonstrated excellence in management and recorded sales growth. Mr. Jan Willem Jongert also made a proposal on site of donation for Sichuan disaster area.
