China Marine Hosts Shareholders' Meeting and Investor Day in Shishi, China, on November 18, 2011

SHISHI, China, October 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Marine Food Group Limited (NYSE Amex: CMFO) ("China Marine" or the "Company"), a China-based manufacturer of Mingxiang® seafood-based snack foods, "Hi-Power" marine algae-based beverages, and distributor of frozen marine catch, today announced that its 2011 Annual Shareholders' Meeting ("Shareholders' Meeting") will be held at 3:00 p.m. Beijing time on November 18, in Shi Shi City, China. Prior to the Shareholders' Meeting, the Company will also host an Investor Day for analysts, current, and prospective investors that will include site visits to the Company's production and packaging lines, retail locations in Fujian province, cold storage construction site and a dinner hosted in by China Marine and Chairman Pengfei Liu.

Stockholders of record as of the close of business on October 10 were entitled to notice of the 2011 Shareholders' Meeting. The Company will transact any matters that properly come before the Shareholders' Meeting or any adjournments thereof.
