China Medical Technologies to Announce Results for the Third Fiscal Quarter Ended December 31, 2010 on February 18, 2011

(the "Company") (Nasdaq: CMED), a leading China-based advanced in-vitro diagnostic ("IVD") company, today announced that it will report its unaudited financial results for the third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2010 before the U.S. market opens on February 18, 2011. The Company's 2010 fiscal year ends on March 31, 2011.

The Company's senior management will host an earnings conference call at 8:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time on February 18, 2011 (9:00 p.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on February 18, 2011).
