core facilities have been successfully installed for the Shenzhen Bay Port and
Futian Port five days ahead of the official schedule.
Futian Gateway is the largest passenger border checkpoint in China while
Shenzhen Bay Port serves as an important link between the Central Business
District in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. In November, 2006, China Public Security
Technology won two Intelligent Border Control contracts, including the
Automated Visitor Check System and the Automated Vehicle Check System for the
two ports valued at approximately $10.0 million. In April 2007, the Company
won another two Intelligent Security Surveillance contracts, the Expedited
Anti-stowaway Monitoring and Control System and the Border Control
Closed-Circuit Television Monitoring and Information Management System, valued
at approximately $3.2 million. The successful installation of the core
technology platforms within a short period of time is a testament to the
Company's strong technology and project management capabilities as well as its
commitment to clients.
