CoreNet Global Announces Dates and Location for its 2011 Asia Summit

The region's most authoritative corporate real estate conference returns to Hong Kong March 22-24, 2011

HONG KONG, Dec. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- More than 400 of the world's top real estate experts will meet to discuss the effect that fundamental changes in society are having on corporate real estate at the ninth annual CoreNet Global Asia Summit, scheduled to take place at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong on March 22-24, 2011.

Themed "Social Dynamics: Growing Cities, Evolving Work Styles and Global Influences," the conference will convene some of the most respected names in the industry who will meet to explore how significant changes in our cultures including how we work and interact, are profoundly impacting the world of corporate real estate (CRE) -- both now and in the future.

For 2011, the agenda will feature a special keynote presentation from Dr. Jim Walker, Founder and Managing Director of Asianomics who will examine the current global and regional economic trends that are driving social change in a session entitled "How Economic Pressures Shape the Dynamic Society."

Other prominent speakers include Mr. Richard David Hames, Founder and Honorary President of The Hames Group who will present a talk on "Where Society Meets Business," plus Mr. Mattias Klum, a photographer, filmmaker and conservationist who will discuss how we can change our corporate ecosystems to positively impact the world in which we live.

Commenting on the event, CoreNet Global's Asia Regional Chair Mr. William Taam states that the objective of the association's summits are to present a platform where industry professionals and leaders can converge to examine the continually changing global business environment and discuss proactive steps for the future.

In terms of highlights, Mr. Taam confirms that the agenda will include discussions around hot topics such as "Optimizing Resources, " "Workplace Strategies," "Leading Issues" and "Sustainability. " For the first time in Asia, CoreNet Global will also be introducing a newly launched "Summit Connect!" programme which will feature live broadcasts from the Hong Kong summit to a special one-day event in Bangalore on March 24.
