HONG KONG, April 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Building on a strong record of brand accomplishments, DHL has added a trio of prestigious accolades in Hong Kong, receiving the "CAPITAL Outstanding Enterprise Awards -- Outstanding Express Service Provider", "Sing Tao Excellent Services Brand Award 2011 -- Delivery & Logistics" and "MTR Advertising 'The Best of the Best Awards' -- Silver Award for Best Innovative Campaign".

DHL's bold and innovative wall-wrap advertisement at Hong Kong MTR Station, enhanced with LED lighting effects, secured a Silver in the MTR Advertising Best of the Best Awards.

Organized by CAPITAL Magazine, the Outstanding Enterprise Awards recognize the contributions and efforts of Hong Kong enterprises with outstanding business performance and achievements during the year. The win marks the fourth time DHL has been honored, which combines a public vote together with a panel of judges of renowned business personalities representing diverse industries in HK.

DHL also received the Excellent Services Brand Award organized by Sing Tao Daily for the fourth time in six years since this award was launched in 2006. This award comes in recognition of DHL's record and commitment to service excellence.

Jerry Hsu, CEO, DHL Express Asia Pacific, said, "These achievements reflect DHL's ongoing investment in our business both through our staff and our international network. We have invested in our people through our Certified International Specialist (CIS) training program. More than 100,000 employees worldwide have attended CIS training. The training encourages employees to exemplify DHL values through our four key attributes of speed, a 'can-do' attitude, passion and getting it right first time. The recent launch of our new flight route to Los Angeles has also enhanced our infrastructure by offering Hong Kong and the region later pick-up cut-off times and next day delivery for the Western U.S. and Canada, facilitating new business opportunities."

The Best of the Best Awards, organized by JC Decaux and MTR Corporation, showcase quality advertising programs on the MTR. DHL's "International Specialist Campaign" received a Silver Award for its creativity in using the MTR advertising platform and effectiveness in achieving top-of-mind brand awareness. The panel of 13 expert judges lauded the campaign's first-of-its-kind use of LED lighting effects to enhance an enormous wall-wrap advertisement at the Hong Kong MTR Station.

"We are honored to have our marketing work celebrated with these awards as we strive to innovatively convey our brand's strengths in a highly competitive advertising environment," said Ken Lee, Managing Director, DHL Express Hong Kong, "As the most international company, DHL also possesses the best local knowledge with high creativity and flexibility to cater to every market's specific customer needs to deliver on-time, every time."
