This announcement comes less than a month after the successful launch of the APEC CBET eLearning Platform at the APEC Lima summit, which was co-developed by ABAC (APEC Business Advisory Council) and Wenzhou-Kean University.
The development of the APEC CBET eLearning Platform was headed by the dean of the business school at Wenzhou-Kean University, Dr. Cao Jiang. The purpose of the platform is to be a place for SMEs (small-and-medium sized enterprises) to obtain the most professional, practical, and localized cross-border e-commerce knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial guidance in the field of cross-border e-commerce. As the primary academic partner of the APEC CBET Network, it will be the responsibility of Wenzhou-Kean University to continue to expand the eLearning project with academic content and support. The eLearning platform currently features 2 course modules produced by Wenzhou-Kean University researchers and industry experts that award students with electronic certificates upon successful completion: Introduction to Cross-Border E-commerce, and Trust and Safety in Cross-Border E-commerce.
