Captures Emerging Opportunities in China Rail Transit Industry
HONG KONG, Oct. 23 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- EVOC Intelligent Technology Company Limited ("EVOC" or the "Group") (stock code: 8285), the No.1 advanced process automation products manufacturer in China, has secured a RMB15 million contract for the automation project of Beijing Metro Line 4.
Under the contract, EVOC will supply the intelligent hardware and software for the automatic fare collection ("AFC") system and operation system of Beijing Metro Line 4, which is due to be completed in early 2009. It will also provide one-year and two-year warranty respectively for the hardware and software purchased. The products and services of the Group will help to simplify the process of fare collection effectively in the railway stations, allowing for more efficient, accurate and reliable control.
In addition to winning the Beijing Metro Line 4 automation project, EVOC has just completed a RMB10 million contract for Beijing Metro Line 10. It provided control systems and accessories for automatic ticketing machines and automatic enquiry machines.
Besides, the Group has also been participating in the network improvement project of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 1. It is responsible for upgrading video frequency monitoring systems and alarm systems in the stations. The contract amounts to over RMB10 million and is expected to be completed at the end of this year. EVOC has also taken part in project of other metro lines in the country, such as part of Line 1 and the entire Line 2 and Line 3 of Shenzhen Metro System, and Guangzhou Metro System, etc.
