Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) awards medal of the "50,000th Patent of EAPO" to Tsinghua University and Nuctech

BEIJING, Dec. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 21st, 2017, Saule Tlevlessova the head of EAPO awarded medal of the "50,000th Patent of EAPO" to Tsinghua University and Nuctech. Wu Kai the head of International Cooperation Department of the State Intellectual Property Rights Office of the P.R.C, Xue Qikun the vice president of Tsinghua University, Kang Kejun the inventors' representative and the vice president of Tsinghua University, Chen Wei the vice president of Nuctech, and the patent agency attended the ceremony.

Xue Qikun thanked EAPO and the state IPR office for their support to the IPR work of Tsinghua University and Nuctech. Besides, Kang Kejun introduced the process of technology transfer and stated that the research group would keep making greater contribution to the promotion of S&T achievements' development. Moreover, Chen Wei stated that the medal was one of the best awards for the company in terms of IPR work for these 20 years, and Nuctech would take this medal as the new beginning for better cooperation and IPR work.

Mrs. Saule Tlevlessova stated that she awarded the medal to Tsinghua University and Nuctech with pleasure. She also stated that she would like to see an intensified patents layout in specific area and would like to provide support to the technology transfer work and other operating business of Tsinghua University and Nuctech in the future.
