QINGDAO, China, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Howell International Trade Fair Ltd. today announced that professionals from around the globe gathered at the 1st Advisory Board Meeting of the 2nd CGDC on January 14 in Qingdao, China. The distinguished group includes technical executives from overseas game companies such as Blizzard and EA, as well as those from domestic game companies such as Shanda, The9, Giant Interactive and Perfect World. Attendees were invited to give their professional thoughts and opinions on how the CGDC conference should be structured and what topics to discuss.
Areas of interest included discussions on the problems and hot spots that game development and publication in the Chinese gaming industry is now facing. The advisors also delivered their opinions on the organization of the event covering "How to bring overseas companies and their technologies into China," "How to plan an international technological communications platform,” and the conference structure, topics and recommendations for guest speakers.
The 2nd CGDC will be held from July 24-26, 2009, at the Shanghai International Convention Center. The Organizing Committee has invited more than 30 technical executives from great enterprises, like Blizzard, EA, Shanda, Giant Interactive, The9 and Perfect World, to set up the Advisory Board. With their support on game developing technology and experiences, the conference will be a platform to promote exchange among the global gaming industry, as well as the import of advanced overseas technology into China.
Before the 1st Advisory Board Meeting, some members, like Blizzard and EA, had already provided their opinions on the conference structure; and the Organizing committee obtained over 500 topics from the advisors and their companies, to which the Organizing Committee has carefully analyzed and classified. However, the global experts also expressed their own opinions in the meeting, and the advisors also gave many suggestions on the format of different sessions.

The CGDC(R) conference is officially approved by the government administration of P.R. China, and is aimed at improving global game technology communications. The 1st CGDC(R) was held at the Shanghai International Convention Center on August 2007, attracting more than 60 famous global experts and over 1,000 professionals participated.
