HANOI, Vietnam, Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On 26 December 2015, VINMEC International Hospital announced the opening of the first of four new hospitals, in conjunction with the Go-Live of Orion Health's Enterprise solution -- marking the first step forward for VINMEC in becoming the leading hospital in Vietnam for patient safety and quality management.
In June 2015, VINMEC International Hospital, a premium healthcare provider headquartered in Hanoi, selected Orion Health to implement its Orion Health Enterprise solution in four new hospital sites in the VINMEC group.
Today, in just seven months since the project kick-off, the VINMEC Tan Cang (Central Park) hospital was able to Go-Live with Orion Health Enterprise -- a single integrated solution that will provide a common platform to enable a single view of the patient record and standardized workflow for both clinical and administrative staff. The Enterprise solution will allow end-to-end management of the hospitals, ranging from financial management, inventory and purchasing to electronic placement of diagnostic orders. This builds the foundation to enable the hospital network to continuously improve the quality of its healthcare services.

The adaptation of the Rapid Implementation Delivery approach for this project meant that the solution was implemented in less than seven months. This record-breaking deployment shows the effective engagement and collaboration from VINMEC and Orion Health to achieve the target date set for the project.The deployment approach will be utilized for the Nha Trang, Ha Noi and Phu Quoc sites, scheduled to complete by mid 2016.
VINMEC is planning to closely follow the deployment for a further six sites as well as support the group's bid for accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI) in 2017 to recognize their commitment to safety and quality with VINMEC Tan Cang (Central Park).
