After intense deliberation, two teams emerged victorious, tied at first place, each winning the top prize of SGD 1,500 and other awards. The winners are Siswanto Tang, Koh Kian Sin and Tan Chin Hui Sean from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nattawut Arunanondchai, Tan Kwan Hong and Vishal Jain from Singapore Management University (SMU).

Shivaji Das, Vice President, Public Sector, Asia Pacific said, "This unique case challenge provided a platform for the public service leaders to identify talent and the next generation of leaders. It is folly to think that only private sector strives for obtainment of excellence or causes our communities to achieve it. The value of public service is vital to our republic and the success of our communities. Today, public sector leaders are working in an era of dynamic global economies and stormy political discourse; I believe we need to continuously attract a new generation of the best and the brightest to public service. It can be stimulating, and a source of pride and inspiration."

The Frost & Sullivan Case Challenge 2013 focused on identifying innovating solutions for the challenges faced by governments around the world. The event provides an opportunity and a platform for next generation leaders to develop and present ideas on how a government can foster innovation to promote economic growth and development.
