TOKYO, June 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan honored LAC Co Ltd, a leading company in cyber security services, with the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Managed Security Service Provider of the Year (Japan) award yesterday.

Tetsuya Niihara, Industry Principal, ICT Practice Japan at Frost & Sullivan said that LAC continued to record a stable growth, which enabled the company to extend its leadership in the Japanese managed security service (MSS) market in 2014.

"LAC has a strong presence and 20-year experience of operation in the marketplace, enabling it to be well recognized by the Japanese Government, public sectors, private enterprises and educational institutes. In order to strengthen its service portfolios, the company added the new advanced malware protection services centered by the sandbox monitoring service," said Niihara.

This enables the company to provide high-quality, safe and reliable MSS to its customers across verticals in Japan, which was the key to its consistent achievement during 2014," he added.

Niihara said that LAC was selected to receive the award based on the company's high evaluation by Frost & Sullivan team of analysts. LAC was measured on actual market performance parameters for the year 2014, which included market share, revenue growth, growth strategy and product innovation.

"We are proud to receive the award from Frost & Sullivan, and would like to dedicate the recognition to all our employees. The recognition also reaffirmed LAC's leadership in the cyber security space," said Mr. Teruhiko Takanashi, President and Representative Director at LAC.
