HONG KONG, October 20, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL) opened six sourcing trade shows today at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo with over 2,200 booths. The six-in-one show in Hong Kong offers buyers a convenient way to source directly from Greater China-based suppliers. Scheduled to run through Oct. 23, the events are:

Tens of thousands of buyers are pre-registered to attend the Fairs, including AS Watson, Adidas, AEON, American Greetings, Atico, Baby Boom, Brookstone, Casino, Chickeeduck, Coles Group, Mothercare, Next, Sears and Woolworths.

Private Sourcing Events offer exclusive opportunities for pre-selected exhibitors to meet large global companies in private during the Fairs. A record 35 sourcing teams are scheduled to take part, including 10 teams from Russia, highlighting growing participation from emerging market buyers.
