HONG KONG, Feb. 13 / PRNewswire-Asia/ -- On 10 February 2009, the Caring Company Recognition Ceremony was organized by Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) at Hong Kong Conventional and Exhibition Centre. For the second time, HL&C Employment Agency Ltd. has been awarded the Caring Company Logo 2008/2009 by HKCSS in recognition of its good corporate citizenship.
The Caring Company Scheme is launched by HKCSS and funded by HKSAR Government. Over the years, it has gained widespread support from local business and the public. Caring Company Logo is awarded to recognize private companies which demonstrate good citizenship. Companies who receive this Logo have to satisfy three out of the six criteria of the Caring Company criteria.
For a long time, HL&C has devoted much time and effort on the public welfare and charity. Internally, HL&C established many policies to give caring to employees & their families and encourage employees to involve in the community activities and volunteering. It developed and offered vocational training to employees. Others, many of the HL&C high-level management have compulsory work in non-profit organizations. Out of the company, HL&C is the member of Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Agency and always contact The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of H.K. -- Tai Po Children & Youth Integrated Services Centre to understand the community situation. Especially, it funded the community service of Thousand Years Feast and created a chance for the old to welcome the new spring together with the youth.
HL&C was founded in 1991 and specialized in the employment agency of foreign or local domestic helpers. Since its foundation, HL&C has been insisting on the diversity business. In addition to introducing domestic helpers to employers, it cooperated with newspapers and magazines in Hong Kong and published much domestic helper information to strengthen the employment law consciousness. It offered many training courses about domestic helper management and home assistant to promote employment knowledge; it organized various activities between domestic helpers and employers to establish harmonious relationship between them; it published the first book about foreign domestic helper management in Hong Kong and offered employer the Indonesia and Philippines translation of cookbook. In January 2008, HL&C passed the certification of ISO900001：2000 and became the first employment agency that passed international certification in Hong Kong. In September 2008, HL&C awarded the Certificate of Merit - HSBC Living Business Awards to recognize its excellence in implementing socially responsibility.
HL&C believes that the involvement of public welfare can not only sublimate the enterprise own idea but also improve employees' view of quality and value.
