Hong Kong Social Media Week 2012 -- Harbour City Hosts Panel Discussion with Social Media Experts in Asia Pacific

 
 

HONG KONG, Feb. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Social Media Week is a multi-city global conference connecting people, content and conversations around emerging trends in social and mobile media. Hong Kong is one of the 12 cities participating in this global platform, including Hamburg, London, Miami, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo, Toronto and Washington DC.

The mission of Social Media Week Hong Kong is to open up conversation about social media in Asia Pacific, with a focus on Hong Kong and mainland China, through a series of creative events that connect brands, marketers, media, and the public unique venues across the city. Social Media Week 2012 marks the second year the week-long event that has been held in the city, which last year brought together 2,300 attendees across 38 events with online conversation generating over 400,000 tweets.

Social Media Week will be taking place in Hong Kong from 13th - 17th February 2012. It is hosted by City Partner Cohn&Wolfe - impactasia alongside a team of advisors. As the largest and most social media active shopping mall in Hong Kong to date with the most diverse offerings, Harbour City is one of the official partners and advisory board members who is hosting 4 different events during Social Media Week 2012, with the topics of Food & Beverage, Travel, Fashion & Beauty as well as Technology.
