IBM Recognizes e-Future with Prestigious Outstanding Solution Developer Partnership Award in Asia Pacific

BEIJING, March 2 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- e-Future Information Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: EFUT) ("e-Future") announced today that IBM awarded e-Future its Solution Developer Partnership Award -- Asian Pacific Region. IBM and e-Future have partnered together for seven years to provide customer management systems and integrated retail supply chain software systems throughout China.

The award was presented to e-Future by Steve Ladwig, General Manager of IBM Global Retail Store Solutions, at the IBM Retail Chain Solution Conference, held in the city of Sanya, Hainan in February 2007. The conference highlighted IBM's involvement in global retail chain management. Mr. Ladwig emphasized that strengthening relationships with key local partners was one focus of IBM's strategic efforts in 2007.

e-Future Chairman Adam Yan said that e-Future has been working closely with IBM (China) since 2000. The two companies have successfully developed leading edge software systems for the retail market through their joint research and development efforts, developing products such as the first Visual Supply Chain Management System for Yansha, which is one of the top shopping centers in Beijing. Mr. Yan also said that while the software industry in China is still in the early development stages, e-Future, as the first Chinese software IPO listed on NASDAQ, looks forward to leveraging its position to contribute to the development of the software industry.

e-Future was founded in 1997 as one of the first supply chain management software companies in China, giving it a significant advantage over its peers. e-Future's management team is confident that the demand for retail and logistics software systems and services will remain strong as the retail market in China continues to develop rapidly. e-Future, with its established client-base in China, and IBM, with global experience and expertise, share the common vision of supplying superior solutions to the growing market.
