BEIJING, July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- State Grid Corporation of China is the largest electric utility company in the world. In June, State Grid published their 2nd Annual Central Informatization Procurement bid results. Of all the Central Procurement bids hosted by State Grid, the largest and most important is the Central Informatization Procurement, which is divided into two parts: informatization systems and dispatching systems. Inspur's two-way, four-way, eight-way and blade servers won bids on a grand scale -- with amounts reaching close to 100 Million RMB, taking 29.3% of the share, and ranking first amongst other winners.

State Grid achieved the centralized integration of various business systems and business data, and has rapidly advanced smart power grid construction plans. 64.5 million new smart electric meters have been installed since 2015, accumulating the electricity consumption information of 317 million users. Inspur's long-term strategic partnership with State Grid not only allows Inspur to provide products and services to State Grid, but also includes support in R&D within State Grid's IT fields. Inspur has been selected bid winner by State Grid continuously over the past four years while ranking first several times -- this further strengthening the partnership between the two companies.

Inspur is the first Chinese manufacturer to launch the eight-way server, and has achieved impressive sales from several other server products. Presently, Inspur has completed the succession of three generations of eight-way products; featuring more than 80 RAS characteristics. Through the consistent development of its innovative technologies, Inspur has also achieved the early-warning and fault-prevention intelligent technology -- customizable to client's requirements.

According to Gartner's 2016 Q1 data, Inspur's servers have steadily kept its first place position for the last several years in the Chinese Market. Globally, the four-way server has ranked first for the last two quarters. The delivery quantity of the eight-way server has increased by 31% on a year-on-year basis and ranked the first in Chinese Market for ten consecutive quarters. Inspur continues to expand its businesses globally, with operations in 18 countries to include the US, Russia, Germany, and Japan.
