Worldwide, announced today that Mark Webster has been promoted from chairman
of JWT Thailand to CEO JWT Japan effective in January, succeeding Ambar
Brahmachary who is joining Young & Rubicam as head of its Asia Pacific region.
Webster has been with JWT for 14 years, beginning in Hong Kong, where he
was raised. He held managing director positions in Vietnam and the
Philippines before arriving at JWT Thailand five years ago. During his time
there, Webster successfully established a truly integrated office that has
consistently been among JWT's top creative performers. In the last year JWT
has become a true creative powerhouse; JWT now ranks fourth in the
prestigious Gunn Report.
