"Jereh is committed to serving our partners to address industry-specific challenges, for example, oil and gas production efficiency," said Mr. Jim Wang, manager of Jereh Latin America.

According to EIA, Colombia has seen a dramatic increase in oil, natural gas, and coal production in recent years after the implementation of a series of regulatory reforms. They are taking measures to make the investment climate more attractive to foreign oil companies. Upstream sector initiatives give foreign oil companies the right to own 100% stakes in oil ventures and compete with Ecopetrol. In March 2011, a decree was published outlining a plan to increase domestic natural gas production, including production from shale or coalbed methane gas fields.

"I believe there is an ideal fit for Jereh to participate in the Colombian market. Based on the advanced technologies from our global R&D centers, especially in Houston and Calgary, we provide an integrated solution for drilling, well completion and stimulation to ensure high efficient, one-stop services for the upstream E&P players. For the natural gas field, Jereh NG solution covers gas compression, purification, liquefaction, LNG transportation and fueling from design, procurement, and construction to project management. These highlight our commitment to promote knowledge sharing and support localized innovation for industry-specific needs," said Mr. Jim Wang.

Jereh now has established South American branches in Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil. In July 2014, Jereh successfully delivered 400 sets of oilfield equipment for PDVSA, setting a strong presence across the South America region. With more focus on Colombia, Jereh will optimize the local supply and service chain with more technology support and sharing among Colombia, North America and China.
