Shanghai Joy City's WeChat Official Account won gold in the Emerging Technology category, while JOY 24hrs Fashion Walking Campaign, jointly organised by the Company's mixed-use complexes under the flagship brand of 'Joy City' across the nation, won silver in the Traditional Marketing category.

The ICSC China Shopping Centre Awards are organised by the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC), the largest trade association of the shopping center industry around the globe. The awards seek to recognise excellence and innovation within China's retail real estate industry in terms of marketing, social media as well as design and development.

Shanghai Joy City's WeChat Official Account achieves successful guidance of online customer traffic to offline stores leveraging O2O initiatives

Shanghai Joy City's smart social platform combines Wechat Official Account, Joy City's official website and its mobile phone application, realising synchronisation of information from retailers, the commercial community as well as its members. As a key element of the smart social platform, Shanghai Joy City's Wechat Official Account has successfully attracted customers to the Company's stores through delivering online information, and achieved effective guidance of online customer traffic to offline stores leveraging O2O initiatives on the basis of information dissemination and social interaction on the platform.

JOY 24hrs Fashion Walking Campaign promotes a positive and optimistic lifestyle through emotional branding

The Company's JOY 24hrs Fashion Walking Campaign is the first nationwide emotional branding activity among all shopping centres in China. Jointly organised by the Companies' seven Joy City mixed-use complexes across six cities including Beijing, Shenyang, Shanghai, Tianjin, Yantai and Chengdu in 2013 and 2014, JOY 24hrs Fashion Walking Campaign has attracted more than 20,000 participants to earn an opportunity for a customised trip in top fashion cities in the world. The campaign requires participants to upload creative images of how they incorporate 'joy' into their daily life and allows online voting via multiple social media sites and the campaign's website to promote a positive and optimistic lifestyle. By creating appeal among young people, the campaign has successfully forged emotional connection between customers and the Joy City brand.
