KONKA Boosts Its Own Brand Strategy

SHENZHEN, China, June 11 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- In the Middle East's Leading Trade Show for Housewares & Home Appliances held from May 13 to 15 in the Dubai World Trade Center, KONKA, China's top consumer electronics enterprise, exhibited its new series of LCD TVs, which drew much attention from purchasers and visitors from around the world. Large numbers of preliminary orders had been received by the end of the event.

The Annual Middle East's Leading Trade Show for Housewares & Home Appliances is the biggest exhibition with the greatest influence in the Middle East. The event this year aimed at the opportunities arising from the sharp increase in population and the number of tourists in the Middle East as well as the capacity of nearly $200 billion in the home appliances market of Gulf nations in the coming five years. It attracted thousands of enterprises, including Siemens, GE and KONKA.

KONKA's achievements this time around were just a part of the fruits received by its accelerating implementation of own brand strategy in 2007. By now, KONKA brand TV products have won a great reputation from consumers in the Middle East, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Fourteen new models in three different series of KONKA brand products will be launched to the market in the first half of this year.

"Our own brand products will be a new profit point in KONKA's overseas business," said Mr. Xiaohua Ho, Vice General Manager of the International Business Division of KONKA Group. "KONKA will standardize its production process and optimize its overseas marketing.
