ECN readers select LSI application acceleration card for top honors in the boards, modules and embedded systems category
TAIPEI, Jan. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- LSI Corporation (NYSE: LSI) today announced that the LSI® WarpDrive® SLP-300 PCIe® flash adapter has been selected for an ECN Magazine 2011 Readers Choice Tech Award. The PCIe flash adapter combines 300GB of NAND flash storage capacity with the I/O performance of hundreds of hard disk drives to provide dramatically improved application performance and response time while consuming less power.
The annual Readers Choice Tech Awards celebrate the innovative new components, devices and subsystems that advance the state of the art and help change the way designers meet their challenges, create new products and enhance their design efforts. ECN readers, in an open nominating process, selected the PCIe flash adapter from LSI as the best new product introduced in 2011 in the Boards, Modules and Embedded Systems category.
