Lumena Accredited National Science and Technology Progress Awards -- Second Prize with Its "Full Set Technology Development and Applications of PPS Fibre"

HONG KONG, Jan. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China Lumena New Materials Corp. ("Lumena" or the "Company", HKEx Stock Code: 67), the world's second largest thenardite producer* and the world's largest PPS resin producer**, is pleased to announce that Deyang Company, a subsidiary of the Company accredited the National Science Technology Progress Award -- Second Prize.

The 2010 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held on 14 January 2011 in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. During the Ceremony, 356 awards of 2010 National Science and Technology Awards were presented. With the accomplishment of being the first company achieved the "Full Set Technology Development and Applications of PPS Fibre", Lumena was accredited the National Science and Technology Progress Awards -- Second Prize.
