Malaysian Telco Staff Rode Airwheel Q5 Twin-Wheel Self-Balancing Electric Scooter to Promote Its New Product -- Magic Sim

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Celcom, one of the largest telecommunication companies in Malaysia, staged a ground campaign for its newly developed product -- Magic Sim. This activation campaign was held in Klang Valley in June this year, which lasted for 11 days from 1 June to 11 June. Airwheel's Malaysian distributor, eRoda Edge Sdn Bhd, took part in this 11-day-long activation campaign, by supplying the Airwheel electric two-wheeled scooter Q5s used by the campaigners.

The stereotype of a typical ground campaign involves little beyond unfolding banners or flags under awnings or cycling while waving them. Telco's ground campaigners broke this stereotype by riding the Airwheel's intelligent self-balancing scooter Q5 in the streets and lanes of Klang Valley to promote their product. The intelligent self-balancing scooter was in vogue in the city. Riding the Airwheel Q5 drew attentions from pedestrians, further facilitating the promotion of Telco's Magic Sim.

The local Airwheel distributor eRoda Edge Sdn Bhd supplied the Q5s for Telco's ground campaign, creating a new mode of ground campaign. The Airwheel Q5 is quite compact and highly portable, so riders can easily weave through the crowed traffic and thread their way through lanes. The twin-wheeled structure makes for its ease of use. As a result, Airwheel Q5 gained widespread acceptance and becomes rather popular with the young and middle-aged riders.

Malaysia is an important target market of Airwheel. Since Airwheel penetrated the Malaysian market, the local Airwheel distributor has been beefing up its promotion countrywide, with roaring success. Apart from the Q5, other models of Airwheel, e.g. the X3, S5 and A3 are catching on. This time, the innovative application of the Airwheel Q5 to activation campaign of Magic Sim would inspire more usages of Airwheel products.
