The delegation reached an agreement with the government of Malaysia as well as with several Malaysian firms on joint investment and the development of ecology and energy projects in Malaysia.

The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia arranged official visits to Sabah and Labuan for the delegation. The delegation, accompanied by Datuk Amar Harris Bin Mohd Salleh, former Chief Minister of the state of Sabah, investigated the region's palm ecological industry. Labuan administrator Datuk Rozman Haji Isli and Wang discussed investment in the Labuan region, and reached an important consensus on cooperation.
