Merzenich Honored in China; Seeks Asian Research Partner

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 17 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Michael Merzenich, PhD., co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Posit Science, has been honored by Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which has invited him to give the Serena Yang Lecture in Rehabilitation Science this week. Dr. Merzenich’s keynote lecture will be "The Brain Plasticity Revolution."

Dr. Merzenich is in China at the invitation of several universities to give a series of lectures and to consult with members of the faculty at those universities about their interest in establishing a center for brain plasticity research. This trip is intended to narrow the search for the location of an Asian center.
