OXFORD, England, April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

For the third year running Oxford Royale Academy (ORA) has been chosen as the Best Educational Product at the British Youth Travel Awards (BYTA), provided by the British Educational Travel Association. ORA runs a quality Oxford summer school for students of all ages; the organisation's emphasis on international education has given students from around the world the chance to study in the academically renowned city of Oxford.

This year, the BYTAs received a record number of submissions for its awards. ORA won Best Educational Product category, reflecting the company's commitment to providing a unique educational experience for its students, both in and outside of the classroom.

90 nationalities have already enrolled for ORA's 2013 international summer school and the company hopes that this summer will be its most diverse yet. By attracting an eclectic variety of nationalities, ORA allows students to gain new insights through vibrant multicultural classroom discussion. Outside the classroom, ORA nurtures cross-border friendships and an appreciation for cultural difference.

ORA is proud to offer a number of full scholarships. Each year ORA gives exceptional students - who may not have otherwise had the financial means - the opportunity to study in Oxford. This year's scholarship winners come from America, India, Macedonia, Malaysia and Pakistan; all have shown both academic excellence, and thoughtful concern for local and global social issues.

The organisation's year-on-year success is testament to the open minded attitude students bring to the programme. As Dina, one of last year's scholarship winners, states, "[ORA was] a time of self-exploration, broadening horizons, inspiring multiculturalism, intellectual debates and new challenges, all combined with an astonishingly rich history and tremendous architecture of Oxford."

Students are accommodated in Oxford colleges located in the heart of the City; giving students a taste of life as an Oxford undergraduate and the chance to live in the historic centre of Oxford. In summer 2013 ORA students will be accommodated in six Oxford college campuses:

  • Balliol College
  • Corpus Christi
  • Jowett Walk, Balliol College
  • Lady Margaret Hall
  • St. Catherine's College
  • St. Peter's College

All ORA's Oxford summer courses are taught by outstanding teachers, many of whom study or work at the University of Oxford, and students are encouraged to develop the critical and precise thinking that is required at university.
