PayEase Receives "Outstanding Contributor of Cross-Border E-Commerce" Award

HONG KONG, April 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The inaugural "Hong Kong Cross-border e-Commerce Forum 2016", organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council ("HKTDC"), was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. In response to the rise of mainland cross-border e-commerce, this is the first time to hold a high-profile forum in Hong Kong under the theme of cross-border e-commerce. The forum invited a number of industry experts from Hong Kong and mainland to conduct discussion with "Statistics of cross-border e-commerce" as the focal point and themed by "Cross-border e-commerce", "Free-trade Zone and Special Customs Controlling Zone" and "Internet + How to make Hong Kong brands thrive". On the forum, PayEase was awarded as "Outstanding Contributor of Cross-border E-commerce" by Hong Kong Cross-border E-commerce Association in recognition of the contribution that PayEase has made to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce.

Mr. Kino Kwok, General Manager of PayEase, was invited to the forum and delivered a keynote speech of "Blueprint of E-commerce -- Sino-Russian Cross-border E-commerce". Under the context of Sino-Russian trade, Mr. Kwok shared years of experience of cross-border e-commerce with the audience and noted that payment, logistics and merchant are three key elements of cross-border e-commerce. As well as introducing the Sino-Russian e-commerce platform TradeEase, he also offered his detailed analysis of how to explore cross-border e-commerce business, develop Russian market and bring successful experience for traditional trade transformation based on the three key elements.

Mr. Ma Yong, Business Development Manager of PayEase, addressed "the opportunities and challenges of cross-border e-commerce under the new customs duties policies" and introduced four models of cross-border e-commerce pilot zones of China custom. In addition, he analyzed new customs duties policies for Cross-Border E-commerce Retail Imports concerning customs duties, importation vat and consumption tax that issued on 8 April and put forward suggestions on how cross-border e-commerce should react to new policy.
