Perfect World Established Cooperation with Sega to Introduce Comic-based Online Game "Saint Seiya Online" in China

(NASDAQ: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator based in China, today announced that the Company and its controlled entity, Beijing Perfect World Network Technology Co., Ltd., obtained a license from Sega Corporation ("Sega") to develop and operate an online game titled "Saint Seiya Online" in China, based on the hit comic work "Saint Seiya" published by Shueisha Inc.

Committed to bringing memorable gaming experiences to legions of "Saint Seiya" fans, Perfect World will integrate its years of online game R&D experience with high-quality resources provided by Sega and Shueisha through this cooperation to develop a classic comic-based online game.
